Thank you.  I want to thank you for your recommendation to purchase a Zephyr mimc Star as opposed to the Carmen I was planning on.  Even though the $$ was more, I took your advice and got the Zephyr.  I just installed it yesterday as the replacement for my original Orotfon Blue and the sound of my lp's is now astounding good.  Detail, soundstage, dynamics....-well you certainly know what I'm hearing now.  I'm smiling ear to ear and cleaning old, long unplayed albums as fast as I can and have time for.  I plan on this cartridge being a cornerstone of my system for a long time.  I appreciate your taking the time to speak with me personally about my decision and, now hearing the results, can't agree more with your philosophy and approach.  Thank you, again.  "HIGHLY Recommended".

I do have one technical question: you recommend using a "blue tack" type material for cleaning the stylus.  I am using an Onzow Zerodust gadget now.  I trust you are familiar with it.  Would you recommend I continue using it?  It seems to do a similar job pulling the stylus gunk off as I would imagine the blue tack doing.  I'd appreciate your opinion.

P.S.  my Zephyr came with the "gift envelope"  and I'll be mailing it off next week.  If I get just the headshell screws, I'll still be one happy camper.  It's great to do business with a company like yours and a person like you.  The gold key usb drive and gift opportunity are just icing on the cake.

They Said What?

I played this album a few times on my system before adding the Zephyr MK III ES. I found it far superior to the CDs I'd listened to, with excellent tone on Miles' trumpet and a deep and wide soundstage. But when I listened to it the first time with the Zephyr MK III ES, it was another level of cool. Right off the bat, the surface noise was down, significantly. Secondly, the soundstage was deeper and wider than I have ever heard on my system before. James Cobb's snare had more snap and his high hat took on more air. Song after song, I was completely engaged in the music.
