SG-200

I was very fortunate to meet Peter during a visit to his workshop in 2008, and was lucky enough to purchase the Soundsmith SG-200 Strain Gauge.  The SG-200 is a superb product and provided a wide and detailed soundstage with very little surface noise.

As part of my job, I have to move every few years, and occasionally I have had issues setting up my system, however Peter with his wealth of experience and knowledge has been able to assist, albeit remotely by Skype and email to resolve all my issues. I can honestly say that the after service care provided by Peter is second to none. This year (2017) I returned the SG-200 for an upgrade, and the returned product is even better than before! With improved depth and scale to the music…. I haven’t stopped smiling.

I have been an audiophile for over 30years and I can say without hesitation that the strain gauge has been one of my best buys, this coupled with the excellent service provided by Peter, and I can assure you that you can buy an SG-200 with confidence, knowing that product is excellent, and is fully and continuously supported after purchase by Peter and his exceptional Soundsmith team.
