 The Dragonfly and Monarch speakers, designed by Peter Ledermann, Chief Engineer of the Soundsmith Corporation, represent the experience of 35 years of audio engineering design. Mr. Ledermann served as Director of Engineering for one of America's oldest and best known loudspeaker companies. He is well known for developing and manufacturing high end audio electronics, speakers and phono cartridges.

 Designed to provide smooth response into the deep bass region, excellent imaging and warm midrange from an easily positioned enclosure, the Dragonfly "bookshelf" and the Monarch speaker employ the most stable loudspeaker materials and production methods known. They also feature tweeter protection and peak amplifier power indication. Firefly Audio speakers will easily fill a room with wall to wall sound, and are engineered to provide many years of revealing sound reproduction.

 Firefly Audio also offers these speakers with ultra-high performance ribbon tweeters for an additional $700/pair.

 The Soundsmith “Versa-Stand” provides elegant solutions for bookshelf speakers offering easily adjustable height, speaker pointing, secure/safe speaker box fastening and a means to hide the speaker wiring.

The “Versa-Stand” can be quickly adjusted, allowing speaker heights of 10”, 20” and 30”. Due to the unique slotted, sectional design higher versions can be easily made using extra pieces and floor securing hardware. The platen for holding the speaker employs a clutch assembly for securing and easily changing the pointing angle of the speakers.

“Versa-Stands” are available from stock in either Cherry (model ADJS-C), Maple (ADJS-M), or Beech (model ADJ-B) SOLID WOODS. Special order woods or stains are also available.
